Ty Hoeffer is our resident computer expert and has almost single-handedly upgraded
all of CARS computer technology to state-of-the-art equipment. The entire concept
behind our web site is Ty's doing and without him you would not be reading this.
Ty has been a member of CARS Since 1991, and is a EMT-Shock-Trauma technician
a Squad Operator,and a Master rescue technician.
Ty is a member of both our Technical Rescue Team and Water Rescue Team
and is a Basic & Light Rescue Instructor.
Ty has been working on computers professionally since he was 19 ( 1981 ) and
currently is a Telecommunications Support Network Analyst (UNIX geek) at the
University of Virginia Medical Center.
